About Us
Just In Time Math is a competency-based, interactive platform for identifying individual strengths and gaps in math concepts and operations. It provides quick, efficient, formative cycles of assessment and tutorials to provide feedback to students and accelerate them towards more complex math concepts.
Just In Time Math was purpose-built to make math accessible to all students with bite-sized learning elements designed using simple knowledge checks and curated open educational resources. Learning is grounded in frequent knowledge checks for different micro- competencies and populates a teacher dashboard for regular insights about where each student is in “the math space”.
The content and tools range from pre-Algebra to Calculus, as well as Statistics, all customizable to the specific competencies needed for a particular application. It can be used in a Math class, Career Education, or STEM pathway, offered through a corequisite course or via a math lab or tutoring center as an asynchronous practice tool.
Designed with the Instructor in Mind
Just in Time Math is purpose-built to help instructors, as much as students, to improve their teaching and use of time. The content and selection of competencies and sub-skills have been directly created by community college faculty to help other faculty members and high school teachers focus on just the right math for the course or application they want.

Just in Time Math provides faculty with granular insights into student performance, allowing them to identify specific areas where students are struggling. This data empowers faculty to target their help more effectively and provide personalized support to each student.

With Just in Time Math, faculty can create or use diagnostic tests to gauge student understanding and identify knowledge gaps ahead of time. This enables proactive intervention and targeted instruction, ensuring students have the foundational knowledge they need to succeed.

Seamless Integration with Your Learning Management System
Just in Time Math seamlessly integrates via LTI to any college / university LMS making it easy to implement and incorporate as a support for existing courses. If an institution wants to offer it as an independent tool to students, it can integrate with standard institutional identity servers like Shibboleth to provide single-sign-on access to students and instructors.
